How often does the company come out?

Most of our customers prefer service about once a week.  Other service schedules are available; if you would like to know more about service more or less often than once a week, please call us.

Do we work through the winter?

Yes.  Dogs keep making their messes all year long, and our company continues to clean up and remove dog waste through winter.  Some customers prefer to put service on hold for the cold months, although there may be an extra service charge for the first clean up the following spring.

What happens when it snows or rains?

We'll work in most weather, but snow or very cold weather can stop us.  If there is more than about half an inch of snow, we will postpone that day's service until the next day or two, when the snow melts away.  If there is so much snow that we are prevented from doing that week's work, then we will not charge for service that week.  If snow stays on the ground for more than one week, but there is no new snow to cover it, we will do regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation.

If your service is interrupted we will adjust your rate to a bi-weekly or monthly fee.  Beyond four weeks (in the event of terrible weather) we will charge you for a normal spring clean up rate.  We will do our best to prevent any interruptions in service.

Our company will usually work in the rain.  A very heavy rainfall may stop us, though.  We will most often be able to make up the work later that week.

What about holidays?

We do not work the following days:

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Day

  • New Years Day

When a holiday falls on a regular service day, we will service your yard the day before or after the holiday.

Should I unlock my gate?

Yes.  Since employees are not to climb or jump over fences, please have your gate unlocked on your service day.  You may provide us with a key to the lock or tell us the combination if that will be convenient for you.

Can we work with your dog in the yard?

In most cases, yes.  We get along well with dogs; however, there are some cases when a dog will not let our worker into the yard.  If you  know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean the yard, then we ask that you restrain or confine the dog.

We don't want to take unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees.

What if I want to skip a service day?

You will not be charged if you call the company office in time for us to tell the service worker to skip your yard that day.  If the dog will be gone from the yard for a couple of weeks, or for some other reason you want to skip your yard for a day or more, we can hold service and you will not be charged for those days.

There will also be no charge for service missed due to weather or some other event beyond your control.

HOWEVER, if your gate is locked or the dog will not allow us to clean the yard when we come to do the work, it may be necessary to charge for the service call that could not be completed.

If, for instance, you get to work and remember that the gate is locked, call us early to tell us to skip that day so that you won't be charged.

How do I pay you?

We will send an invoice in the mail at the end of each month, after the work is all done.  If you prefer another payment method, contact us.

There is a $10.00 late fee for accounts not paid by the 15th of the month following the service.

Are there any contracts I have to sign?

No.  We can start and stop your service over the phone.  We do not require contracts, there is no minimum service period, and there is no advance notice required to cancel service.

Is there an extra charge for the first time?

With your prior approval, there may be an extra charge for the first service if there has been an accumulation of waste over time.

Is it possible to get a one-time-only service?

Sure!  One-time-only, or short term service may be easily arranged.

What does your company mean by satisfaction guarantee?

We strive to provide perfect service, but if there is ever a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, please let us know right away.  We will make it right, either by coming back to re-clean the yard the same day or the next day.
